First meet of the year! All Rookies but 5!  This meet is a fun meet and there are no regular team scores. All the teams were divided up into fun teams, to help meet other gymnasts and foster good sportsmanship. Levels are divided up between Rookies and Veterans.

Level 4's leaped in and got us started. Congratulations Ladies! Next the Level 5 took to the floor. Great routines from all the Level 5's! Last the Level 3's made a statement! What a great start to the year Ruby gems!!! Congrats to Miss Veda on a 1st Place Champion Sweep! Miss Carley came home as Vault Champion and Miss Sadia reigned in Vault, Floor and All-Around also! Two weeks to tweak those routines again and off we go again!!! Keep up the hard work!!

 2015 Iowa State Optional Championships

SATURDAY, MARCH 14, 2015 AT 8:03AM

The Optional Ruby ladies traveled down to Cedar Rapids to compete in the 2015 Iowa Optional State Championships. Miss Cecelia Conlin took silver on beam. Two young ladies were bronze champions: Miss Bridget Cannon on vault and Miss Hope Moore on beam. Congratulation ladies!

Level 9's competed on Sunday and Miss Sam Boyle came home with a bronze on floor. The Ruby ladies had a good first state meet as Level 9's! Looking forward to rocking it next year!!!

 2015 Northern Lights and Leapin Leprechaun Results

SATURDAY, MARCH 7, 2015 AT 5:06PM

This weekend found the optional girls team going in two different directions. Level 9's traveled up to Minneapolis to Northern Lights. Miss Sam Boyle broke the Ruby record on floor with a 9.3. Way to shine Sam! Ruby ladies came home with 4th team, congratulations ladies! 

Sunday our Level 6 & 7's were in Cedar Rapids at the Leapin Leprechaun. Level 7's came home with two champions: Miss Cecelia Conlin brought home gold on bars and Miss Hope Moore went gold on Beam. Not to be outdone, the Level 6's Miss Ashlyn Latusick took gold on Beam also. Miss Eva Christensen set a new All-Around Team record with a 35.575! Both teams placed 2nd! Way to shine Ruby's!!

 2015 Iowa Winter Wonderland

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2015 AT 2:05PM

This weekend found Ruby in Iowa City. Level 7's competed first. These young ladies placed and most importantly again broke some personal bests.

Level 9's were next up to show their routines. They also placed and broke personal bests. The team set new vault and floor records for Ruby. Miss Sam Boyle broke the floor record with a 9.2! Great job ladies!

Bringing up the last session, but not to be outdone; the Level 6's and our 2 Level 5's attacked their routines and best their bests also. Level 6's set new team records on beam and floor! Way to shine! Congratulations to Miss Ashlyn Latusick on breaking the Ruby beam record with a 9.45!!! 

Congratulations to Miss Isabella Madrigal and Taylor Kiewiet on scoring out of Level 5 and moving up to the world of optionals.

 2015 Gym Quarters Invitational

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2015 AT 9:35PM

St. Louis was the host to 2015 Gym Quarter Invitational. This meet brings in many clubs from many states, increasing the quality of competition. 

Our Level 6's began our meet. They broke some of their personal bests to begin this meet Great job goes out to Ashlyn and Taryn. 

Next our Level 9's hit the gym. Delaney Schaffner took 4th on bars and Lily Becker took 4th on beam! Then to top the morning off; the team took 5th out of 13 teams. Nice job girls!!!

Finishing up the evening the Level 7's took to the floor. Personal records were broke by all. Cecelia Conlin came home with 6th on Floor, 7th on Bars and 6th All-Around. Great job ladies!!!

A great meets for these rookie teams! Keep up the positive attitudes and work hard for our next meet!!! So proud of you all!!! 

 2015 Cupid Classic

This will be a meet to remember. Cupid Classic was held in Kansas City. It took great determination to get home by parents, who won out against the winter storm that pounded the midwest. This determination allowed our Ruby team to give their best at the meet. Great job ladies!!!

 2015 Leenda's Island Adventure Team Trip

The Ruby Team trip was home at the Key Lime Cove! All team members and families had a great time at the waterpark and meet. The bus trip was another success thanks to Andrea Bellows, Kim Eastman and Maripilli Hassman! Thank you goes out to all parents for helping to make a great fun team trip!!!!

This year at Ruby for the first time we will have all first year Optionals. Ruby Level 6's started off our weekend of competition. Way to start off the season ladies! Team took 11th.

Level 7's were next up on the competition floor. Cecelia Conlin brought home gold in vault! Another great season kick off. Way to set goals ladies and achieve them. Team took 10th.

Level 9's capped the Optional competition off for the weekend. Ruby 9's took 3rd!

Next was the Ruby Compulsories turn! Level 3's began the day. Emma Shepard was a triple  crown, winning Vault, Floor and All-Around. Sydney Hansen brought on the gold also in Bars. Congratulations ladies! Level 3's took 3rd Place Team!!!

Last was the Level 4's. Isabella Mardigal came home a gold medal winner on floor. Congratulations to all the Level 4's!

What an amazing end to the season for these Ruby Gems!!!! Hitting 70% better routines than in prior meets. 52 times on the podium! A big pat on the back for making the changes your coaches asked of you!!! You all made the coaching staff very proud!

Level 3s came home with 6th Place. Two young ladies were vault champions: Miss Haiden Moore and Miss Sadia Leyh. Congratulations! The team set new records for Team Total Score 113.80, as well as Vault, Beam and Floor Event Scores!

Level 4s came home with 9th Place Team! 4s also set a new Beam Team Record!

Level 4 Isabella Madrigal was champions on Vault, Bars, Floor and All-Around. Ruby records were shattered this weekend. Level 3's tied their team score while beating their bar record. Miss Emma Shepard broke the All-Around records with at 37.275. Level 4's brought home a new beam record and Miss Isabella Madrigal set new records on bars and floor. She also set a new All-Around record for the 4's with a 37.50. Congratulation to all!

 2014 Sapphire Hoe Down Results

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2014 AT 2:55PM

This past weekend Ruby traveled to Des Moines to compete in the Sapphire Hoe Down meet. Some stiff competition at this meet for sure! Congratulations to Sapphire Level 3's on 1st Place. Ruby came in 3rd, way to go ladies!!!Level 3 Champions were Olyvia Bellows on Beam and Sydney Hansen on Vault Bars, Beam and All-Around. Level 3 set a new personal Team recoard and Beam record.

Individual Event Records were broke also. Level 3 Sydney  Hansen set the new beam and all-around records, while Isabella Madrigal broke the Ruby vault and beam records and tied the bars.

Level 4's came home with 4th Place Team. They had two Champions: Isabella Madrigal on bars and Taylor Kiewiet on floor.

These young ladies have been working hard and have even more fine tuning... and exciting year for Ruby.

A HUGE THANK YOU to the parents that spent countless hours pulling together our meet! From the first step in planning - to the last equipment loaded on the truck and returning the supplies to the gym. Ruby Level 3's took 2nd Place Team and the Level 4's took 5th Place Team. We enjoy watching them improve each meet. Jammie Jam is a fun meet to start off the Compulsory season. Gymnasts are split up between rookies(1st yr.) and veterans. Teams are put together with a mix of gymnasts from other clubs. A great way to bond with other gymnasts from other teams. Ruby came home with five meet champions! Way to shine ladies! A great start to the season. 

Level 4 had a solid first meet and were the first to compete for the week-end. All Level 4's qualified for state = Happy Coaches. Isabella Madrical came home vault champion!  

Level 3 followed on Sunday and shined! Olyvia Bellows was crowned All-Around and Beam Champion! Fast to follow in line were her team mates: Natalie DeVoll on vault and Jaeden Kaeppel on Beam!

 2014 Leenda's Island Adventure Team Trip

SATURDAY, JANUARY 11, 2014 AT 9:15AM

 An almost 6 hour bus ride (on which the gymnasts had great team time: from watching movies, to making rubber band wristbands to switching seats every 15 min), we arrived in Gurnee, IL! We had a great trip in and a safe one thanks to our bus driver. One of the highlights was watching the girls' expressions when we got into the motel. The most amazing place they had seen: a great waterpark to bowling to an amazing arcade to shops and the oh-no candy/sweets bars!!!! Needless to say, within 15 minutes of  departure off the bus, all were in the water! A great fun meet for the team!!!

Leenda's meet began with the Level 6's on Friday night and they came to shine. A great start for the season! Way to start the meet ladies! Two joining the 9.0 club!!!

Level 8's had a good meet, coming away with a floor champion, Gabby Corday! A good beginning to the season!

Next the Level 3's came in with a shining statement by taking 2nd Place Team!! And breaking their own team record! Along with the team banner were 2 event champions: Isabella Madrigal and Taylor Kiewiet on floor. A great ending to the season! Congratulations ladies!!!

Last to show their polished routines for the season were the Level 4's. Keeping up with the Level 3's, they also come home with 2nd Place Team! Level 4  All-Around Champion was awarded to Cecelia Conlin. Floor Champions crowned were: Hope Moore, Kamryn Kayser and Cecelia Conlin. Hailey Rausch vaulted into a Vault Champion! Great job ladies!!!

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2013 AT 7:22PM

Congratulations go out to Level 4 State Beam Champions Hope Moore and Taryn Fittro!!! Silver medalist went to Hope Moore on Vault, Bars, Floor and All-Around; Cecelia Conlin on Beam and All-Around and Kamryn Kayser on Floor. Bronze winners were Cecelia Conlin on Floor; Hailey Raush on Vault and Bars; and Kamry Kayser on Vault. Each team member placed in an event as listed below. Amazing job ladies!!!

Level 4 come home with 4th Place Team out of 24 Iowa teams!!! Level 4 broke their team record by 2.8 points, scoring a 111.95! This team has grown in leaps and bounds. From our first meet at Judges Cup, they have raised their team score by 6.95 points! What an amazing year! Congratulations!

Celebrating State Champions for Level 3 were: Sydney Barnett on Beam and Taylor Kiewiet on Vault and Floor!!! Great job ladies! Silver medalists were Grace Schilling on Bars, Ella Stineman on Beam and Taylor Kiewiet in All-Around. Bronze winners were Grace Schilling on Vault and Ella Stineman on Floor and All-Around. Great way to shine Ruby ladies!!

2013 Peppermint Twist

MONDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2013 AT 10:16AM

This meet was hosted by TCT in Minneapolis, and was surrounded with traveling trials. Thank goodness all are home and safe. A mini team supper took place on Saturday evening following Christmas shopping and fun at Mall of America. 

Both teams were challenged to go big in each routine to prepare for State this weekend. Minnesota only awards All-Around all age groups together. A HUGE congratulations go to Level 4's Hailey Rausch placing 5th and Cecelia Conlin placing 10th out of 90 gymnasts!!!! Way to shine! Each gymnast recieved a leotard and were eager to show them off Monday and Tuesday.

Level 4 took 4th Place Team! Way to go ladies! Level 4's had 90 gymnasts total. Below are the placements in the top 20. Great job ladies!

Ruby girls came into this meet ready to rock! Level 3 and  4 came home with 5th Place Team out of 16 clubs! Congratulations girls! Many, many improvements in routines were seen at the meet. Great job Jillian Beuter on her first come back meet on beam!

Level 3 Champions representing Ruby were: Ella Stineman and Isabella Madrigal on Beam, Olyvia Bellows on Vault and Taylor Kiewiett on Vault! Way to go girls! The team improved their own team record by over 3 points. Great job by Isabella Madrigal on her first meet!

2013 Iowa USAG State Meet

 Optionals did a great job representing Ruby at the state meet! Level 8's came home with one State Champion: Holly Harris, and she set a new Ruby bar record with a 9.475. Lily Becker qualified for Regionals to be held April 21st in St. Louis. Tinea Kuduzovic is awaiting petition to qualify her also, due to injury. Destiny Claus-Davis set a new Ruby floor record with an 8.925. Congratulations ladies on your first year competing these levels! We are very proud of you all!!!

The Ruby Optional Level 8 girls leaped to many personal bests! Level 8's took 5th place team. Along with setting a new team record, they improved their vault and floor records. Tinea Kuduzovic set a new bar record  of 9.425 for Ruby along with Sam Boyle setting a new floor record of 9.325. Tinea and Holly both qualified for Level 8 finals!  Great job Ruby!

Destiny Claus-Davis broke the Ruby records on vault, bars & All-Around. She tied for 3rd place on vault with a 9.55, just missing finals.

USAG Iowa Championships were held in Clive Iowa and hosted by Triad Gymnastics. Ruby came home with 13 State Champions! Way to shine Ruby girls! 

Level 6 claimed 6th Place Team out of 16. Level 6's came home with a double Champion. Miss Madison Schoppe is our State Champion in Vault and Bars! Congratulations Maddie!

Northern Lights offered fantastic competition! Region 4 is loaded full of talent, and should place well at Nationals. The girls gave their best this weekend. Level 7 Team took 6th! Harley was the first meet for 7 of our Ruby ladies! Along with that, it was also our first meet as a TEAM! They did an outstanding job! The team placed 14th out of 27 clubs. 3rd place team from the clubs representing Iowa. Everyone placed in at least one event and we stuck 32/36 routines. Not bad! Team total was 36/40! They demonstrated again, great sportmanship! We set team records and broke individual records. Way to shine!

Level 6 -Congratulations to Hoe Down Champions! 17 teams represented from Iowa and Nebraska. Level 6 Team came home with 1st Place by .025!!!!
